Working on a Comic!

Currently, I am in the early stages of creating a comic series! This page is to show off some progress and "Behind the Scenes" drawings! The comic is still in development, but I thought it would be cool to show off my progress!

Concepts and Characters

Here are some ideation pages! These characters are further developed from around 2017. I completely scrapped my old concepts and story and started blank. I wanted to go for a horror/comedy comic about ghost hunting.

Antagonist Concepts

Here, I am figuring out my ideas for the ghost characters. I wanted to base some off of the Analog Horror genre, as well as characters from Junji Ito's works. I also wanted to find a way to write an interesting story that would make me more attached to them.

Setting Design

I immediately knew I wanted to make a fun looking "hangout" spot for the characters to reside at, so I came up with the idea of "Mia's Metaphysical Market" a metaphysical shop that sells oddities like ghost hunting supplies, taxidermy, and more. I needed a plot device to incorporate more of the "horror" and ghost hunting aspects, and Mia's character fits that mold pretty well.

First Few Pages(Not Final)

Here are the first two pages of the comic! These are just to test the colors and possible layout of the story. I'm still contemplating on whether to add color or try a black and white style. Overall, I still haven't quite decided on a title, as well as an ending for the story.
